Shawn Conway

Shawn has more than 10 years of experience in private equity. He joined Point 41 in 2025 to lead the firm’s business development efforts, support the portfolio, and build relationships with intermediaries, executives, and transaction advisors. Prior to Point 41, Shawn founded Heartwood Impact Capital, a lower middle market independent sponsor focused on industrials and services businesses. There he was responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, underwriting deals, and raising capital.

Earlier in his career, Shawn held various business development positions at Abry Partners, Gauge Capital, and LLR Partners, where he sourced new investment opportunities across a number of industries, including industrials, business services, and tech-enabled services.

Shawn received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Penn State University.
